The cambelt, also called the timing belt, is a vital part of your engine as it allows the two halves of your engine to work together properly. Over time, through regular use the cambelt will wear down or stretch, and if you don’t get it replaced before it gets too worn it will snap, which would cause severe damage to your engine and be costly to repair.
